Program description

GeoSetter is a Windows application for editing image metadata. You can change the specified coordinates and other information. Recording is done using the ExifTool module.

Importing files

The left panel contains a convenient file manager that allows you to download the original set of files. All common file formats are supported today, including RAW and JPG. After downloading, you can find out the technical information – size, file name, resolution, and so on. The report is conveniently displayed in a separate panel.

Geodata

The application allows you to add location information to the snapshot using the built-in map. It is enough to specify a suitable point on the map using a special marker – the program will determine the coordinates and attach them to the file. Frequently used data can be added to the Favorites panel for quick access later.

The following tool allows you to automatically specify the altitude above sea level and the IPTC parameter. It is worth considering that in this case an Internet connection is required. After the work is completed, you must specify the data saving mode – creating a new file or overwriting the current one.

Editor

It is possible to edit other metadata. You can specify the author, date, short description, set of keywords, and so on. A convenient panel is used for editing. After completion, the information must be saved.

The help section allows you to get detailed information about the program's features and features. To find the desired option, you can use the search module or open the appropriate section for manual search.
